So I'm the guy who had to do the run through test on Oculus, I tested it on a DK2 on a Alienware M17x Laptop and a GTX970 graphics card PC with an Intel i5 processor.
My results on the laptop; 20-30 frames
On the PC; 30-60 depending on the area you are in.
I would note that there is 1 puzzle that is quite difficult to do with Oculus but most people struggle with it without Oculus, it's one of the hardest puzzles in the game.
Motion sickness in Pneuma is minimal because the movement is very 1 to 1, there is no swaying or forced movement as there would be in say a fighter jet. You state that the reccomended spec for VR is a 970 or higher on the store page - but this only achieves 30-60fps? Minimum for comfortable VR is 75, even dropping a couple of frames will produce a horrible experience.
How about on lower graphics settings? Can we lower the settings and get the game to run at a smooth 75 fps? Cause that would be acceptable, IMO.
